Chelsea Lenora White

Business Manager and Entertainment Editor of the Forward Times

Chelsea Lenora White is the Business Manager and Entertainment Editor of the Forward Times. Born and raised in Houston, Texas, she is a third generational asset to the historic multimedia production company.

Chelsea Lenora earned her bachelor’s degree in music at Loyola University New Orleans and upon graduation, went on to become a national charting recording artist. Understanding the cultural relevance of Forward Times, Chelsea Lenora continually utilizes her resources to further connect Forward Times with some of the largest brands in the world. One such project that she spearheaded was a partnership with Nike in which Forward Times became the home of a mural honoring WNBA legend Sheryl Swoopes, painted by local Texan artist, Jeremy Biggers. The mural continues to be an attraction as it lives on the Forward Times wall in the heart of the Third Ward community.

She also led a partnership with the City of Houston’s Health Department for a grant-funded initiative by the Rockefeller Foundation (VAXHOU). The project equipped tens of thousands in the Greater Houston community with information and access to free COVID-19 testing and vaccinations.
